i was a little upset with daryl. and complained about him in the previous post. but who knows he's actually such a sweet boyfriend...
he woke up early in the morning yesterday to wash his car and there he was, at my doorstep at 10.40am. i just woke up and he actually drove all the way down again to bring me to see a doctor. thanks dear....!
insect bite caused this bump on my right foot sole... after taking medicine, the swelling has subsided and it's not so painful now. still a little limpy.
saw my schedule for this coming week at NIE. everyday report 8.30am and it ends rather late. i feel only this. SIANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. but mummy said don't feel sian... think of the money and won't feel sian. hahahha... even my family doctor said he won't give me discount anymore if i earn too much (as a principal) in the future... should have agreed to be his goddaughter when he asked me when i was little.....
i shall enjoy the last day of 2007 with darlie and his friends... byebye 2007.HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL IN ADVANCE!

bloody hell @ 2:55 AM
lots to tell.
dealing with citibank. horrible way of handling applications. instructions unclear. etc. terminated my application without informing me because they gave unclear instructions & sent me a letter so late over the weekend demanding more documents that i could not mail over in time?? go and die.
using my new i pod touch now. very cool gadget.
don't understand why blogger crops my post right smack at that particular point. can someone tell me? does blogger limit a page's length? i have many photos in the recent posts.
had a wound in the left leg few weeks back. i pasted plaster over it cos' it looked ugly. pus did not come out as i expected. went to japan. wound still there. not pus anymore. dunno what's that inside. there's a bum. shit. and just i was so annoyed and frustrated with this wound on my leg that has very high chances of leaving a super ugly scar on my leg, my right foot was bitten by something last night. i thought i had a splinter or something. but no. the pain increased. it's swollen. i can't walk properly. I HAVE TO LIMP. it's damn painful. why why why?? bad things follow one another. i wanted to join chris tonight..... but i couldn't even walk properly. i'm an angry, sad person now.
it doesn't help when my boyfriend didn't think of staying with me so that he can bring me to a doctor tmr. whatever larh.
at least there is always mum. helping me with the bandages and medicated oil..... thanks mum. and nope, no thanks to daryl.
watched planet terror. NO WAY i'm watching films by that director anymore. awful crap.

day one in japan @ 2:32 PM
miss using my vaio to blog... last night was out with my dear friends after all the running here and there. to the hospital to see d's grandma, to see his mum for the first time... to see my own grandma.... june, jeanie, ps, me & dear went to celebrate j.r's birthday for him at old airport road market. though didn't join them for the ktv and cycling earlier on, i still had fun. was super tired thou. because a lot of travelling to hospital and parties on x'mas eve once we touched down. and my dear finally got his car (my favourite yellow swift sport!) on x'mas eve too!! i was tired travelling so much on the road. let alone him. he drove for hours and hours over the past 2 days. pictures will be up once i get them.
anyway, here's gonna be the BIG POST. daryl's and my japan trip 2007!!
we left for Japan on december 13th night. it was a terrible flight. couldn't sleep. thank goodness there was lots of food given to us on the plane. haha. a heavy breakfast at 4am. we were half dead when we arrived at japan at 7plus in the morning. so here's a bout DAY ONE a long train ride before we arrived at ikebukuro to leave our luggages at the hotel. ok here's happy dear when we first stepped into ikebukuro... haha... then we had our very first meal in japan... VERY NICE & CHEAP katsudon and curry katsudon. we patronized the shop 3 times in ikebukuro. we went off to ameyoko for some cheap shopping... we followed the itinerary... but due to us being too tired after the night flight, we didn't go to tokyo tower & odaiba as planned. here's one of me at ameyoko. not sure if u guys can see the 3 words behind. it says "a-me'yoko". we didn't buy anything from there. not a single item. dear had a nice coffee break thou. we nearly died in the cafe. SMOKERS EVERYWHERE... =( we went on to akihabara. to search for dear's gundam.... my boots made my feet hurt like mad. we walked for very long... but couldn't find the shop selling gundam. i bought a 2GB sD card for only 25 bucks at akihabara. hehe. (my saviour card... i finished the 2GB card in my whole japan trip. ALL IN ALL i used a 512, a 2gb & a 256..) this was him when he couldn't find his toys. but this was him when he bought his master grade gundam. 2 big boxes of them somemore. haha really much much cheaper there.... :) happy darling. one good thing in japan, i can find lotsa takuya and smap stuff around!!! haha. posters everywhere. happy happy. we went back to hotel and decided to take a good rest. but goodness me, we woke up at 7 plus... so no more tokyo tower or anywhere else. we went for dinner at a ramen shop opened by chinese. the ladyboss was v nice anf friendly... japanese offer to take picture for us too! look at our big bowl of ramen. one each. so much i couldn't finish.. i tot i was ill. how come couldn't finish both meals in japan. then we went to take a look around ikebukuro... had our cake & coffee... very very relaxing first day. both of us loved it a lot. except for the smoke again...
day TWO @ 2:20 PM
here comes DAY TWO.we went to odaiba first. it's a rather new place in tokyo i guess. it has big shopping malls.. which i totally love... (i bought earrings.. a very nice pair. kinda ex but when u go overseas, who cares already. haha... ) it has statue of liberty. haha a smaller version. and we could see the rainbow bridge and tokyo tower from there!! so here are some photos taken at odaiba. dear was quite fascinated with this gozilla. so i did him a favour by taking a photo of him with it. haha..nice toilet seats in japan. some of them are warm!!! very very good!! cos' it's freezing my ass out there. so i need something warm to my butt. hahah.. i used the washing functions. warm water again. VERY VERY GOOD LARH! must know how to read k. dun anyhow press. haha. the first toilet i used in japan (majority are like that) has the flushing sound function. the sound starts when u touch the seat. it's to cover the sound of u when u wee wee. i think japanese ladies are very embarrassed about the pee-ing sound. singaporeans? not at all lor. but i do wish they have warm water for washing hands.... some are water so cold it hurts my hands. and even after drying, you feel super duper cold. but go toilet must wash hands mahh. ok enough of toilets. let's skip to food. hahahha... we took lunch at odaiba. this waitress mistook me for japanese because i replied i wanted non-smoking seats in japanese. we studied the japanese menu for quite some time and only then she realised and gave us ENGLISH menus instead. haha... that meal was simply wonderful~~ i had some seafood combo thing. yummy! i bought a pair of boots at odaiba. 101 SGD. it looks simple and nice... so dear said if i like it just buy it. i wore it right away. and for the next 8 days i wore only that pair. the 2 pairs i brought just lie soundly in my luggage all the way. hehe. next, we went off to tokyo station.. moving on next, we went to GINZA! which has absolutely nothing there but shopping malls that sells branded and goods that cut throats. too expensive... being my first time there, i insisted on going to take a look there. ginza on a saturday. roads closed for the shoppers. insane insane. too crowded. you get pushed... don't have to walk. you get pushed and you'll just move. after taking pictures of the well-known ginza wako & malls, we left for shinjuku.. we didn't even enter any of those shopping complexes in ginza. wasted trip i would say. i'll not go ginza anymore if i visit Tokyo again. the last stop of the day was shinjuku. not too fun there. but i enjoyed the view from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Offices building in shinjuku! no entrance fee required! very pretty... although both were hungry and tired, we enjoyed the view from the 48th floor. haha... we bought boxes and boxes of food there... i bought a nice keychain/thermometer there too! used it to see how cold are the places we went. it's always 12 outside. the lowest scale is 12. but i guess actual temp is actually 7 or 8 only... went to take our first sushi meal at some food centre. not fantastic but its chawamushi is the best that i've ever tasted! had a nice good ice cream with red beans and jelly in it. we took a lot of ice cream in japan! haha... crazy us. went to a shopping mall called lumine. i bought 3 pairs of socks in there. bags are expensive. salesgirls are super attentive and friendly! then to kabukicho. their nightlife spot. ermmm. yep, japanese nightlife. let me sum it up. PACHINKO + KARAOKE + FOOD + CLUBS with young girls' posters outside. nothing much for me and d' to do there. so we left after taking some pictures... last two of this section show some clubs and a shop that looks kinda "se4 qing2" to me. darlie tried to catch this green thing in the archade. he kept laughing at it. errrr... haha. bought this pretty ice cream too. heart-shaped biscuit with strawberry ice cream in it. my goodness. you guys should have seen how many girls are buying it at ikebukuro station.. our spoils for the day. or rather, mine alone. =P okay that's all for day 2!
day THREE @ 2:18 PM
DAY THREE... shibuya first, then harajuku (we were too late, couldn't enter meiji shrine). this was what i meant by posters of my favourite man everywhere!! ahaha.. right in front of me after i stepped outta train at shibuya station. we woke up super late on this day. went to shibuya 109...no more 109 girls nowadays la. haha. bought some souvenirs & a skirt (not ex. 26 bucks) for myself there.. bought a fake burberry scarf for samm. as what she requested... just that she hoped for a real one. but too ex larr. went to spain slope too. bought a mickey mouse necklace which i like very much. 30+ sing dollars. i didn't buy on impulse.. i went to get it when we were about to leave shibuya... tried on their brassiere... erm no wonder taiwanese girls and japanese girls easily have C cups and all. all sizes so small. i go there also C cup lo. hahah...there were even more people who mistook me for japanese. one long string of japanese... i'll say "sorry?" then they'll go "sou nan da~ sumimasen.."had a nice coffee break with dear at shibuya. i kept shopping... then he only requested for his favourite drink--- some coffee. of course i have to agree to it.... he's so nice.. let me buy everything that i want. hahaha... muahhhh. we tried to get a table to avoid the smoke. but the smokers are just everywhere la.we went off to harajuku (my favourite place in tokyo!!) cheap clothes.. i bought a pair of nice shorts for just 13 dollars. and another top for same price... the shorts' quality is much much better than those in forever 21. saw people in costumes.. men in cute waitress costumes. brrrr... people with rainbow colored hair etc.. quite an eye opener for me. the daiso there got us both buying like mad. every single item is $1.30... i bought fake eyelashes, double eyelid tapessss, powder sponges/pads. daryl bought boxes and boxes of biscuits, chocolates and what have you. there's this hp strap thing tt's popular in japan now. they can engrave wordings for you free. me and dear got one. it's hanging in his car now. =) shops selling idols photos... anyway, we had a good dinner at this place called La Pausa. it sells very nice pizza and pasta. yum yum! there's always room for dessert so we had the famous crepes! saw them featured in tv programmes before... dear had chocolate while i had chocolate banana. woot!!! power! very very nice. took a walk down omotesando street.. to look for a burberry blue label bag. his colleague wanted us to get one for her. but couldn't find. the shops close early on sunday nights. so, we went into KIDDY LAND!! haha quite fun there. silly me and dear had fun playing with those machines. those insert 300Yen and you will turn the knob and get a toy. haha we got 10 of them and made them souvenirs. hehe... v cute and fun. we looked like kids... so let's see how bad was the damages done that day. (i love that mickey necklace & our hp strap) tried on the clothes i bought that day at harajuku & shibuya as i was told by darlie. see, you must know where to go in japan to buy clothes... not everything is expensive~!
DAY FOUR @ 2:17 PM
finally i'm atDAY FOUR. all these are in sequence and will all be below the very first post regarding the trip. not sure if anyone will follow up the story but it shall serve as a sweet memory recall for me & daryl.
we kept changing our itinerary plan in tokyo. either because we woke up late or we spent too much time on one place and had to rearrange the schedule for next few days. fourth day was a monday. i planned for a whole day at tokyo disneyland.. thinking it would be less crowded.. but...I WAS SO WRONG!!! damn it. so many people.
anyway, before we took the train to disneyland, we actually had early breakfast at macs (the bread for the breakfast meals was actually sweet! they used the pancakes as the 'bread' and they have the M shape on them. v cute)then went to this japanese landscape garden. that's just me. i like to really visit a country knowing more about its places of attraction, culture... if it's the first time i visit the country, i have to do all these. if it's merely for shopping, i could have easily done that back here in singapore... so i had to go and see all these gardens and temples... towers & shrines. haha. darlie had no choice but to follow. rikugien is said to be one of the best japanese landscape gardens left in tokyo. we took a train, asked for directions quite a few times, walked for quite some time before we found it. even daryl loved it. it was beautiful...red maple leaves... yellow leaves all fallen onto the ground...ponds...lakes...bridges...mandarin ducks... took like 100 over pics in there. so here are some!disneyland was up next. we played 6 games in total. dear made sure we played the major ones.. 3 of them were like 70minutes wait time each? grr... i did not enjoy the trip there much. but the parades made me feel like a kids once more. i love mickey and donald. hahah... so cute... the space adventure ride & thunder mountain were the most interesting. they had to be!! made me wait for 70 mins or even more!! pirates of caribbean was not bad at all too. though it was a slow ride, the characters were so real!! jack sparrow was too real. exactly the same as in the movie! ate nice chocolate popcorn. watched the minnie mouse and cast show.. danced with them in the end...haha cos they asked the audience to dance. i did! but daryl did not.. haha.. too shy i guess. it was quite fun. we left after the fireworks. splendid fireworks...bought nice cookies... nice mickey's HAND card holder to keep our entrance tickets... and nice pirates of caribbean calendar & photo album for my sis! she loves johnny depp... had late dinner at about 10pm. nice curry rice restaurant in the busy busy tokyo station!! perhaps it was due to the cold weather. both of us could eat non-stop! juices, coffee and little cream puffs for supper!

happie happie!! @ 1:02 PM
i'm feeling extremely happy now. hehe. even though i just had a cut on my thumb by a blade.
okay let's see. yesterday was the first time i went down to NIE. i had to go down because i received a call from NIE in the morning saying they had yet to receive my forms. i was like WHAT FORMS? I DIDN'T RECEIVE... deadline was 7th, last friday. so she told me once i get the forms, imme send back to them. i said ok. then i asked glen. to my horror, glen said it was in the same package as the contract agreement... bahhh!! i knew there is this green stack. very thick but i just didn't flip thru it. everything was inside. err. i wanted to just send it. but being the paranoid me, i went to call NIE and told the same lady if i received it, should i mail it to them or deliver the documents personally. then she said "you got it ald huh?". i couldn't lie.... i said "yah". then she nagged a bit. hahah... "everytime u all get something, you must take everything out and read carefully.... since late already, you bring down today k?" haha.. no problem!
so i set off to NIE. took me 50 mins from home to NIE. it's the furthest school from my house ever since i started schooling... sad. went to the office and was a bit afraid to enter. i was in SLIPPERS. on the glass door wrote, students have to abide by school rules. bla bla. NIE students have a code of attire to follow. no slipper n sandals bla bla. we have the right not to serve students who do not follow.... smth like tt. haha i hurried to the counter since there was no one. tapped on the bell. the lady was nice... didn't scold me or seem annoyed. cos' i apologise for handing the documents late. but...7th is friday. i hand in on monday. ok larh hor? i better check the code of attire soon. no shorts no slippers no short skirt. later they say no red hair i die liao.
anyway..the happy thing is. i'll be getting my pay tonight. just received the sms notice. HAHAH. very happy that they give me bonus. a huge sum to me larh. some ppl who's super rich may think it's peanuts to them. i've been slacking... for one month. i get paid and have a bonus (near a mth). i'm glad. i promise i will try my best to teach kids well. i try........ but i think they smarter than me. tsk. dear said this is a cause for celebration. hahah.. retribution. that time he got pay raise i asked him for a treat.
2 more days to japan!!! lalala~ lala~!

happy birthday! @ 2:29 AM
shitty... i'm so round and fat. hahaha... MANY KILOS PUT ON... go japan eat somemore... jialat. JI BAI JIA LAT LIAO~
oh. how can i forget this. HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY PS!!! MUAHHH... her guess wallet should suit her just fine.we just celebrated for her at her house... just me, daryl, junrong, june and birthday girl... jeanie couldn't make it in the last min... the class gathering was called off because violet felt really sian when she knew about the attendance... but! it was still a really nice gathering! small group, LOUDDDD laughter.... hahaha i had a really good time.... and the food was good. 2 medium pizzas from rite pizza.... a party meal from kfc. a cheesecake as birthday cake. hehe a mini one. great company. i love my friends... my friends who do not betray one another...we're real, non-hyprocrites.
sometimes i wonder. why should we bother to organize class gatherings... the response is always lousy. people always don't reply. people always give excuses (i only accept overseas and promises to other gatherings beforehand as good excuses) this is something that is so rare.. but anyway, we called it off. small gatherings are just as good, even better i would say. so class gatherings? hah. i guess i wash my hands off this from now on. yeap. i'm done with all this shit :)
so what are the upcoming events for us? high tea at good wood park hotel...ktv session... and chalet for us!! happie happie...
went to sign the contract agreement for enrollment into NIE this morning. chris & d' were my 2 sureties... heng i found chris. both sureties so young. both bickering non-stop. hahaha... i love their company.
one last thing. i hope daryl will pass his exam for CCNP on tuesday. please pass to him all my intelligence (if i still have any) and all my luck (ermm i hope still have. recently quite suay. just pass him the good luck. suayness i shall keep.)
